Family Portrait

‘Family Portrait’ is the product of a three day workshop with Chinese artist Lei Lei at the Royal College of Art. The task was to create a real or imagined family portrait based on family photos, old magazines and voice recordings. Despite our group members being from Taiwan, Singapore, Ukraine, Belgium and Germany, we found one international thing that all our families had in common – an eccentric or awkward relative.
